Description
Wheelbarrow Hall is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed with English garden wall bond brickwork and stone dressings, topped with a slate roof and featuring brick chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and five bays. It boasts a moulded entrance surround with a dentilled pediment and ornamented console brackets, along with a panelled door. The sash windows are adorned with flat-headed brick arches. Additional architectural details include a string course, a moulded cornice with kneelers, and coped gables. The name "Wheelbarrow Hall" comes from its late 18th-century use as the parish workhouse; it was previously known as Holme Park. The listing does not include the farmyard buildings.
