Description

Nos 1 to 10, Oak Bank, comprises a complete terrace of larger town houses built around 1840. The houses are three storeys high and have a stuccoed exterior. Each property features a moulded doorcase situated up a flight of steps, distinguished by a cornice supported by mask consoles. A bay window is present, and the upper floors each contain two sash windows. The window above the bay window is framed by a moulded architrave with a cornice on consoles. The central and end houses incorporate gables, and a round-arched window is positioned on the top floor of each. The terrace forms a visual grouping with Nos 1 to 6 Marine Terrace, also on Oak Bank Road.
