Description

Cross House Farm, formerly known as The Cross, is a late 18th or early 19th century farmhouse. It is constructed of Flemish bond brickwork above a chamfered stone plinth, with raised V-jointed quoins. The roof is of graduated greenslate, and there are end chimney stacks finished with cement rendering. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three bays. The front features a four-panel door set within a painted, moulded stone architrave. Sash windows with glazing bars are set within painted, moulded stone architraves. Associated outbuildings are not of particular architectural interest.
