Description

The Grange is a former farmhouse, now a house, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed from ironstone and limestone ashlar, topped with an old tile roof and features stone end and ridge stacks. The building has a four-unit plan, stands two storeys tall with an attic, and has a seven-window range. The central entrance has a 20th-century six-panel door set within a 20th-century stone porch that includes a stone lintel and keyblock. The ground floor has 20th-century windows with stone sills, jambs, and flat-arched heads featuring keyblocks. The first floor has similar windows with stone sills and jambs. To the right, there is a lower two-storey extension. Inside, the property includes a re-used 15th-century moulded spine beam and other chamfered spine beams.
