Description
The Gothic Arch in the garden of Upton Hall is an ornamental structure dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features a pointed arch surrounded by ironstone, with two-light Decorated style tracery that is likely made of Coade stone or another type of artificial stone. This arch is located in the garden at the rear of Upton Hall and is included for its group value.
Additionally, there is a stone pointed arch from the 14th century with cusped tracery, which is probably from the Church of Saint Michael. The Gothic Arch, the Church of St Michael, and an aviary together form a significant group.
