Description

Northampton High School, located at No. 44 Derngate, is an early 19th-century building. It is constructed of red brick and features a roof that is screened by a parapet, with dormer windows. The building has two storeys and attics, topped with a cornice. There are three sash windows with glazing bars set within reveals. The central entrance consists of a door flanked by incised pilasters and topped with an oblong fanlight, all under a cornice.
