Description
The Judge's Lodgings is an 18th-century building located adjacent to the Sessions House on the east side. It features an ashlar front with a basement and three storeys, complete with a plinth, frieze, cornice, and parapet. The façade includes five sash windows with glazing bars set within reveals. The central doorway is framed by an architrave surround and leads to an eight-panelled door that is fielded, topped with a frieze and a pediment supported by consoles. The Judge's Lodgings, along with the Sessions House, County Hall, County Council Offices, and Nos 8, 8A, 9, and 9A, form a cohesive group of buildings.
