Description
The well head, located approximately 18 meters west of Bragborough Hall, is likely from the 18th century and features an Italian design. It is made of marble and has a circular shape with an arcaded frieze. The sides are intricately carved with crosses, fleurs de lys, and two coats of arms. A wrought iron arch, adorned with scroll ornamentation and topped with a coronet, supports a pulley for a bucket. This structure is included for its group value with the nearby hall.
