Description

South Lodge is a farmhouse built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed from lias ashlar and has a two-unit plan. The building features a three-window range with 19th and 20th-century casements that have flat arch heads. There is a central entrance that includes a 19th-century four-panelled door. The ashlar gable parapets and kneelers are complemented by brick stacks at the ends of the building. Additionally, there are 19th-century roof dormers. Inside, there is a bressumer over the fireplace, which includes a 19th-century fireplace and a curing pantry located behind it.
