Description

Victoria House is an early to mid 19th century building located on the west side of Market Square. It is constructed of stucco and features an entablature and a parapet. The building stands four storeys tall and is distinguished by tall panelled Doric pilasters on the upper floors. The corner block has three sash windows with glazing bars on each front, with cornices and central pediments above the first-floor windows. The ground floor has a modern shop front. Victoria House is part of a group that includes Nos 1, 5, 7, 8, 12, and 13.
