Description

This barn, located approximately 65 meters northwest of Barnwell Manor, has origins dating back to the 15th or 16th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a stone slate roof. Originally designed as an aisled barn, it has since been truncated. The south elevation includes a central gablet with a four-light stone mullion window at the apex. The barn also has ashlar gable parapets, kneelers, and finials. There is a cart entrance in the right gable, likely from the 19th or early 20th century. Inside, remnants of the original roof structure can be seen, along with evidence of the aisle construction.
