Description

Slade Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating to around 1800. It is constructed of coursed and squared ironstone with a concrete tile roof, and features brick coped gables and two ridge stacks and one gable stack. The two-storey, four-bay front has a nearly central 20th-century close-boarded entrance door, flanked by two 19th-century three-light casement windows, all with concrete sills. The rear of the farmhouse features an off-centre 20th-century glazed porch, with a mix of 19th- and 20th-century windows. Group value is present due to its contribution to the character of the surrounding area.
