Description
This is a row of six houses, dated 1865, built for the Wadenhoe estate. The houses are constructed from squared coursed limestone with ironstone dressings and banding, topped with slate roofs. They have a two-unit terrace plan and are two storeys high, forming a six-window range. The end bays project forward and feature gables. The windows are casement style with glazing bars, flat heads, and segmental-arch surrounds. The first-floor windows in the central four bays have hipped eaves dormers. Between the window ranges are pairs of plank doors with decorative strap hinges, all featuring segmental-arch heads. The bargeboards are decorated with quatrefoils, and there are stone stacks at the ridge and ends. A datestone is located at the center of the row. The interiors have not been inspected.
