Description

This is a raised walk built around 1863 by Thomas Drew, likely restored in the early 20th century. It features a squared coursed limestone retaining wall. At the eastern end, there is an arch-headed tunnel that provides access to the kitchen garden, while the western end has a flight of steps. The gardens of Barnwell Manor, which include this raised walk, are listed in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England Register of Gardens at grade II.
