Description
The Prince of Wales is a public house dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations. It is constructed of colourwashed flint with brick dressings and features a half-hipped thatch roof, with a brick chimney on the left side. The building is 1½ storeys tall and has two bays. On the ground floor, there is a 4-pane sash window on the left with two board shutters, and a small 3-pane sash window on the right with a single shutter. Above, there are two gabled semi-dormers that contain old, 3-light wooden casements, some of which are partly leaded.
At the center, there is a weatherboard porch set within a verandah, topped with a corrugated iron roof supported by cast iron shafts. To the left, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension with an ornamental tiled roof. On the right, there is a gabled two-storey extension that is rendered and has a tiled roof. Additionally, there is a single-storey brick range on the far right with a slate roof. All extensions are also colourwashed.
