The cottage has a rubblestone plinth and a thatched roof. It consists of two wide bays and two storeys, with a single-storey thatched lean-to on the left side. There are two central four-panel doors and ground floor casements with three lights that have leaded glass. The upper floor includes a two-light leaded casement on the left and two two-light casements with glazing bars on the right. The cottage has gable stacks, with the right-hand stack having a rubblestone lower part, a tiled offset, and a brick flue. Inside, there is a large chamfered and stopped spine beam that runs the entire length of the ceiling and is supported on brackets. The interior also features inglenook fireplaces and an original oven.
