Description

The Seasons Fountain, formerly known as the Beggars Fountain, dates from around 1800 and features a small classical facade made of Carrara marble. This facade appears to be constructed from parts of a chimneypiece and includes lines inscribed from Thompson's poem 'Seasons'. The fountain has a lionhead spout and a stone basin.
