Description
Nos 4 and 5 Cornmarket are early to mid 19th century buildings made of red brick, topped with a Welsh slate roof that features a deep eaves cornice. They stand three storeys tall and have 19th century shop windows, with cornices above both Nos 4 and 5. The upper floors contain five sash windows set in reveals, each with flat arches and glazing bars, except for the first floor windows of No 5, which do not have glazing bars. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 5 (consecutive), The Little Market House, the Guildhall, premises occupied by Midland Bank, and The Falcon Hotel.
