Description

Old Cottage is a building from the 17th or 18th century located on Wexham Street in Stoke Poges. It is constructed of brick, with the returns pebbledashed, and features an old tile mansard roof. The cottage has two storeys plus an attic and is divided into three bays. On the ground floor, there is a central modern brick porch flanked by two 2-light windows with segmental heads. A brick band runs along the first floor level, which has a central blank window and two additional 2-light windows. The attic includes two dormer windows in the roof, and all windows are casements with glazing bars. To the left of the main building, there is a one-storeyed modern extension that is weather boarded and has an old tile roof.
