Description
Troye Cottage, located at No. 32 on Whielden Street in Amersham, is an early 18th-century building that has been refronted from an earlier timber-framed structure. The cottage is constructed of red brick and features an old tile roof with a modillion wood cornice. It stands two storeys tall, with a first-floor band on the left side. The building has a fixed sash window in a flush frame. There are two doors on the right side; the left-hand door is now disused, while the right-hand door is topped with a modern pedimented hood. The two first-floor windows have been modernized, lacking glazing bars and fitted with louvred shutters.
