Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed house with later additions, forming an L-shaped plan with associated mill buildings. The house itself is three bays wide and two storeys high, with gable ends facing the road. The timber frame is exposed at the rear and in the left-hand gable of the mill range, with brick infill elsewhere. It has gabled dormers to the front, featuring decorative bargeboards. The windows are 19th-century casements, and a central door provides access. The mill range comprises four bays and includes casements, openings to a loft, and doorways. Both the house and mill range are covered by old tile roofs. A tall, square brick chimney, dating to the 19th century, is located at the rear.
