Description

April Cottage and No. 25 comprise a pair of cottages dating to the 17th and 18th centuries, with later alterations. The construction incorporates exposed timber framing, colour-washed stone, brick, and roughcast rendering. The roof is covered with shingles, and a gable features shingles. There are two brick stacks. The cottage at No. 24, on the right, has four bays with paired and single casement windows, horizontal sliding sash windows in the right-hand bay, and a lobby entry in the second bay from the right. No. 25, to the left, has two bays, with a 20th-century extension and an entry to the right. Both bays of No. 25 have 20th-century casement windows.
