Description
Chichele Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, located on the north-west side of Main Street in Padbury. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick, with stone on the west gable, and features a thatched roof. It has brick stacks on the left gable and between the right-hand bays. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys tall and consists of three bays. It has paired barred casements with timber lintels, and a three-light window to the right of the entry. The door is situated in a square projection between the left-hand bays, which includes a verandah-style porch topped with a lean-to slate roof. There is also a lower rear wing that is thatched.
