Description

Nos. 48-54 on South Street is a terrace of four small houses built in the 19th century. The houses are made of brick and feature a slate roof with two brick chimneys. They stand two storeys high and have four bays of sash windows set in reveals, each topped with painted cambered brick arches. The terrace includes four doors, each with semicircular relieving arches and painted tympana. The joinery is mostly from the 20th century, except for possibly the four-panel door belonging to No. 54.
