Description

This is a mid-19th century terrace of eight properties located on Mill Road. It is built of flint and red brick, with a red tile roof. The terrace consists of two storeys and eight bays, with Nos 12 and 14 projecting slightly in a gabled bay. Modern porches have been added to Nos 4, 6, and 8, each with casement windows in a slightly projecting bay. A band of patterned brickwork and a dog tooth cornice are prominent features. No 12 has a hood mould over its ground floor window. No 14 projects slightly more than No 12, and the ground floor level. The casement windows are without glazing bars. A lozenge is incorporated into the gable of Nos 12 and 14. Inscribed "GC-1846."
