Description
The Master's House at St Peter's School is a mid-19th century school master's residence designed in the Gothic style. It is a two-storey building constructed from flint with brick dressings and quoins. The house is likely the work of Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin or an associate, built around the same time as the nearby Roman Catholic Church. The structure features a three-bay composition with three gables, each adorned with attractive bargeboards, with the central gable being larger than the others. The windows are designed with stone mullions in a Tudor style. On the left side, there is an off-center porch that has a gabled roof and a Tudor-style arched doorway. Additionally, there is a ground floor bay window located at the north end of the house. The roof is tiled.
