Description
This is a house dating from the 17th century, which was refronted in the 18th to early 19th century. It has a timber frame with brick infill at the rear and left gable, while the front is made of brick. The house features a thatched roof with a central chimney that has a rebuilt rendered shaft. It is one storey and has an attic, with two bays. The ground floor has 20th-century three-light leaded casements, with the upper window also in thatch. There is a boarded door to the right of centre, aligned with the chimney, and all ground floor openings have segmental heads. The thatch extends down over a weatherboarded bay to the right, which was formerly an outbuilding but is now part of the house. There is also a 20th-century brick wing at right angles to the rear, which has a tiled roof and similar casements.
