Description
Coppice House is a house dating from the 17th to early 18th century, which has been altered and extended by one bay to the right in the 19th century. The building features some timber framing with whitewashed render infill that is exposed on the first floor of the center bay and the rear of the left bay. The remainder of the house has been rebuilt in brick, with some flint used in the plinth. It has an old tile roof that is half-hipped to the right and a large external brick chimney on the left side. The house is one storey with an attic and consists of two original bays. The windows are leaded casements, with a 3-light window in the left bay and a 2-light window in the right bay; the first-floor windows are located in gabled eaves-line dormers, with the left dormer featuring a small top-light. There is a board door to the right of the left bay. The ground floor openings have segmental heads. The 19th-century bay to the right includes a 3-light leaded casement and a 20th-century porch with an old board door. Additionally, there is a weatherboard shed to the left.
