Description
Nos 74 to 82 on London End is a terrace of five cottages dating from the 18th century, which has been altered over time. The cottages are built of brown brick with burnt headers and feature an old tile roof that has two chimneys along the ridge and a boarded eaves cornice. The buildings are two storeys high.
On the first floor, No 74 has a sash window with a cambered relieving arch, while Nos 76 and 78 each have a sliding casement window with glazing bars. No 80 and No 82 have modern windows.
On the ground floor, No 74 features a three-light bay window with an architrave and cornice that extends over the door. Nos 76 and 78 each have one sliding casement window and a boarded door. No 80 is cement rendered and has a modern door and window, while No 82 mirrors the style of Nos 76 and 78. Additionally, Nos 78 and 80 each have a dormer window in the roof.
