Description
The garden walls, gate piers, and gates located to the northwest of Poundon House were built around 1910. The walls are constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and feature flat coping stones. Flanking the side entrance at the northeast end are dressed ironstone piers that have moulded cornices and pyramidal caps. The central section includes piers with segmental pilasters, moulded bases, and entablatures. The wrought iron gates are adorned with a scrolled crest. This structure is included for its group value with Poundon House.
