Description

No. 4 The College is a small house dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is whitewashed and originally consisted of a two-bay cottage made of rubble stone. The house was extended in brick to the north in the 19th century and to the east in the 20th century. It features a thatched roof that is hipped to the south, with a brick stack located to the north of the cottage. On the west side, there are paired 19th-century wooden casements, and a first-floor window is situated in the centre bay under the thatch. The outer bays have ledged board doors, with the door to the right leading to a 20th-century conservatory.
