Description

NUMBER 4 (FOURPENNY COTTAGE) AND OUTBUILDING TO RIGHT

This 18th-century cottage and associated outbuilding are located on Frogmore Lane in Long Crendon. The cottage is a single storey with an attic, built of rendered and colour-washed rubble stone. It has a half-hipped thatched roof on the right side. A central door is sheltered by an open-gabled porch. There is a three-light casement window to the left and a single-light leaded window to the right. Two two-light windows are set within the thatch. A small wing constructed of tiled material is located to the left. A small, detached, single-storey thatched outbuilding stands to the right.
