Description
Iver House is a mid-19th century building that incorporates an early 18th century core. It features a cement-rendered, colour-washed exterior and a slate roof behind a parapet. The house has two storeys and an attic, with box dormers that have flat roofs. A moulded string course runs along the first floor.
On the side elevation, there is one sash window on the first floor and a porch on the ground floor supported by two Roman Doric columns. The front elevation displays quoins, with a plain finish on the first floor and a rusticated appearance on the ground floor. The first floor has five sash windows, although the central one is blocked in. The ground floor also has five sash windows. To the left, there is a two-storey addition with overhanging eaves, which has two sash windows on both the ground and first floors. All windows are fitted with glazing bars.
