Description
Thatched Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that was extended around 1980. It is constructed of witchert, which is colourwashed and rendered, and features a thatched roof. The building consists of two bays and two storeys. On the left side, there is a modern bay that is rendered and colourwashed, with a catslide tile roof and a front wall that is set forward. The right wing is at right angles to the main structure, single storey, and also made of witchert, colourwashed and rendered, with an old tile roof that runs parallel to the road. The original 18th-century part of the cottage has a central thatched porch and 2-light casements, with a gable stack on the left side. The modern left bay includes a garage door beneath the catslide and a 2-light gabled dormer. The right wing features 2-light casements on both the left gable elevation and the road front.
