Description

This is an 18th-century row of cottages located on the south side of Church Street. The cottages are constructed of red and grey chequered brickwork, topped with an old tiled roof and a corbelled brick cornice. The row has two storeys, with each cottage originally featuring a single window. Most cottages have three-light flush casement windows set under cambered relieving arches; sash window to number 98. A cut bracketed doorhood is located above the doorway of number 100. Numbers 70 to 80 (even), 84 to 110 (even), and 114 to 120 (even) form a group with these cottages.
