Description

The Bee is an 18th-century building located on Britwell Road in Burnham. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a handmade tile roof. The west elevation has a ground floor with a arrangement of one, three, and one sash window. The central three-light window is topped with a cambered arch. On the first floor, there is one sash window and one three-light sash window, the latter also featuring a cambered arch. A modillion cornice adorns the top of the building. The south elevation has undergone significant alterations. The ground floor is roughcast and includes two modern porches and three sashes with glazing bars. The first floor is mostly tile hung, featuring one sash with glazing bars and three modern casement windows.
