Description
Nos 76 and 78 on High Street are an early 18th century pair of cottages that have been converted into two shops. The buildings are constructed of red and grey brick and feature an old tile roof that is hipped at the right end. They stand two storeys tall and have four two-light casement windows. There is a brick band at the first floor level of No 78. On the ground floor, No 78 is painted and has modern shop windows, while No 76 has a modern shop window and a door with a reeded wooden surround on the return side. No 76 is rendered.
