Description

Arcade House is a late 18th century or early 19th century building that was rebuilt after a fire in 1979. It is constructed of red brick and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high. On the ground floor, there is a carriage entrance, a door set within a wooden doorcase, and a shop front featuring plate glass windows. A modern timber hood extends the full length of the front. The first floor has two sash windows with glazing bars. The building is listed for its group value.
