Description

Nos 16 and 17 on High Street are 18th-century buildings with a front made of colour-washed brick and an old tiled roof. They are two storeys high with attics and feature four wooden mullion casement windows with two and three lights. The ground floor has cambered relieving arches above the windows. There are two gabled dormers with two-light casement windows. The left side has a cut bracketed door hood, while the right side has two windows, one of which was formerly a door, both under a bracketed hood. The buildings have sprocket eaves and a brick band on the first floor. They are part of a group that includes nearby outbuildings, the Swan Public House, the West Wycombe Branch County Library, and several other listed buildings.
