Description

Nos 4 and 6 on The Broadway are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. They are constructed of red brick, featuring some burnt headers, and have an old tiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic and include two dormer windows. On the first floor, there are sash windows set under the eaves, with the left-hand window in a reveal and the right-hand window set flush. The ground floor has two doors that are centrally placed beneath modern gabled hoods supported by brackets. No 6 has one sash window, while No 4 features a 19th-century three-light bay window.
