Description
27 and 28 St Mary's Square are 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall. They are constructed from vitreous and red brick, featuring moulded brick eaves cornices and an old tile roof. The buildings have three hipped dormers with lead casements. Number 27 has two windows and a central porch that includes an early 19th-century four-panel door set in a moulded frame, complete with a doorcase adorned with narrow pilasters, a plain frieze, and a small cornice. Number 28 has one leaded window on each floor. These buildings are part of a group of listed structures in St Mary's Square, which also includes No 1 St Mary's Row and No 6 Pebble Lane.
