Description
Ponders is an 18th-century building that has been restored. It was originally a farm for Bulstrode Park and later served as a pair of grooms' cottages. The structure is made of red-blue brick and features an old tile hipped roof with a moulded coved cornice. It stands two storeys tall, with the first floor displaying four sash windows and one circular window. The ground floor includes an 18th-century wooden doorcase with Roman Doric pilasters and a pediment, along with one sash window on the left and three sashes on the right, all featuring cambered brick relieving arches and glazing bars. Inside, there is painted deal panelling and a stone floor in the hall.
