Description

Kings Cottage is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall. Originally, it featured a symmetrical facade with three windows, but an addition on the south side now includes one extra window on the ground floor. The cottage has a red tile roof and is constructed of painted brickwork, with rubbed flat arches and stone cills. The windows are sashes set in exposed frames. A notable feature is the impressive pilaster doorcase in the Doric order, which includes triglyphs and seven-fluted pilasters, leading to a six-panelled door.
