Description

No. 9 Aylesbury Road is a house dating from the 16th or 17th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with painted brick infill on the lower part and plaster infill on the oversailing upper floor. The roof is covered with old tiles, and there is a chimney at the left-hand end.

On the first floor, there are two 2-light casement windows and one 3-light casement window, the latter of which has leaded glazing. The ground floor has a central four-panel door, which is accessed by four steps. To the left, there is a square bay window, and to the right, at the junction with No. 11, there is a 2-light bay window.
