Description

Barclays Bank, formerly known as Modbury, is a bank that was originally a house built in the early 19th century. It features a red brick exterior and an old tile roof, with a chimney located on the right side, adjacent to No. 18. The building is two stories high and has three bays of sash windows set in reveals, each topped with flat arches. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an arched fanlight that has a diagonal glazing pattern. The doorcase is adorned with grooved pilasters and a flat hood supported by moulded brackets.
