Description
Nos 8 to 11 on Easton Street is a late 18th-century formal terrace block that stands three storeys tall with basements. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick and features flat eaves cornices along with Welsh slate roofs. Each house has two upper-floor windows, which are sashes with glazing bars set in reveals beneath flat arches, and one ground-floor window that is four panes wide. The doorways consist of six-panel doors arranged in pairs, with coupled doorcases that have panelled reveals and slim elliptical engaged columns. These columns are topped with flat double scroll brackets that support cornice hoods, which are adorned with architraves and friezes between the brackets. There are three stone steps leading up to each entrance, and original cast iron railings are present around the steps and basement areas.
