Description

Apple Croft is a cottage dating from around 1835. It is constructed of witchert on a rubblestone plinth, rendered and colourwashed. The cottage has a slate roof with gable stacks and is two storeys high with three bays. It features four-pane sash windows, and a three-pane window above the central door, which is set in a shallow gabled porch supported by brick piers and topped with a slate roof on shaped brackets. At the back, there is an addition covered by a catslide roof.
