Description

The Thatch is a cottage that dates from the 17th to 18th century and has undergone some alterations. It is constructed of witchert, rendered, with some rubble stone, all of which is painted. The cottage features a thatched roof that is hipped at the eastern end and extends over an addition. There is a chimney on the western gable and two eaves dormers. The windows have been replaced with modern leaded casements. On the ground floor, there are three two-light windows, a stable door in the lower thatched wing on the right-hand side, and one two-light window in the addition on the left-hand side.
