Description

Flora’s Temple was built in the late 18th century as part of the West Wycombe Park estate. It is constructed of stucco with a Welsh slate roof and takes the form of a tower with a square plan. The building is three storeys high and features a cornice and pedimented east and west fronts. A band of flint runs around the first floor, and the east front includes a flint arch with a key block containing an entrance and a window. The upper storeys have Doric angle pilasters, and sash windows are set within chamfered reveals. The west front has a loggia on the upper floor.
