Description
This is an 18th-century building on Castle Street, altered subsequently. It is a three-storey structure with a cornice and an old tiled roof. Originally it had two windows, with a flush casement window on the ground floor and flush sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor. The second floor contains casements set within reveals. An adjoining building to the right is of 17th-century origin, also altered. The adjoining building has a modern red brick front concealing a timber-framed structure, and it has an old tiled roof. A tall carriageway is situated to the right of the building, with just one storey. It forms a group with Nos. 1 to 15A (odd) on Castle Street.
